Beatrice V. FiscusBeatrice V. Fiscus, age 103, of Canton, formerly of Louisville, passed awayMonday, November 18, 2002 at Altercare of Canton. She was born inMoundsville, WV January 5, 1899 to the late Charles and Hattie (Bennett)Dunlap. Beatrice was a member of the First Christian Church in Canton. Shewas preceded in death by her husband, Ira in 1983. Survived by a daughterand son-in-law, Shirley and George Monter of Ft. Pierce, FL; a son, RonaldFiscus of Niantic, CT; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Serviceswill be 11 a.m. Friday in the Stier-Israel Funeral Home of Louisville withPastor Manley Pierce officiating. Friends may call one hour before servicesat the funeral home. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park, Canton.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Christian Churchin Canton.

Kathleen F. Monter, age 59, of Louisville, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday,February 1, 2000 in Aultman Hospital. Kathy was born February 9, 1940, inCanton, to the late George and Helen (McClelland) Materna. She was a memberof Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Harrisburg. Kathy is survived byher husband, William A. Monter of Louisville; a daughter and son-in-law,Belinda and Darryl Frase of Canton; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Robertand Deborah Monter of East Canton and David Monter of Louisville; a sister,Janey Davis of Louisville; a grandson, Jeromy Frase of Canton; and numerousnieces; and nephews, especially Patty and her daughter, Michaela. She ispreceded in death by her mother, Lois Materna Blettner. A Mass of ChristianBurial will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart of MaryChurch with Rev. Fr. William Kraynak officiating. Burial will be in thechurch cemetery. Friends may call Thursday 6-9 p.m. at the Paquelet-FalkFuneral Home in Louisville.
