Robert Patrick Guiler

From the Zanesville Times Recorder, pg 6 B, 20 Jul 1966:
BOY INJURED IN AUTO CRASH
A 13-year old Luck avenue boy was injured shortly before 2 a.m. Tuesday when a
car in which he was a passenger skidded on loose gravel and crashed into a ditch on the
Ridge road, sheriff's deputies reported.
Pat Robert Guiler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Guiler of 301 Luck avenue, sustained
a cut on the head and was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in a DeLong and Baker
Ambulance. He was dismissed after receiving treatiment.
Ronald Dalzell, 28, of 836 Lexington avenue was the driver of the car. The auto was
demolished.


Farreld Franklin Guiler

From the "Armed Forces" column of The Zanesville Times Recorder on 12 Oct 1966 (pg 4A):
The following men from Muskingum County enlisted in the U.S. Army for the
following guaranteed assignments duuring the month of September .. Farreld F. Guiler
whose parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Guiler live at 301 Luck avenue, for assignment
to Los Angeles, Calif. as a missle crewman.

Farreld Guiler served in the Army in Vietnam.


James H. Strahler

James Strahler was married at the time of his death. His wife's name is not known.


Edna Strahler

Edna E. Lopez's obituary appeared in the Clarksburg (WV) Exponent Telegram on 23 Nov 2004:

CLARKSBURG -- Edna E. Lopez, 86, of Rt. 1, Clarksburg, died Monday, November 22, 2004, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Lopez was a retired registered nurse with over 40 years as a private duty nurse.
She was born in Waterford, Ohio March 15, 1918, a daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Rupple Strahler. She was married to Thomas J. Lopez on November 22, 1949, who preceded her in death on August 29, 1985.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas M. Lopez and his wife, Jeannine, Clarksburg Country Club, and Joseph A. Lopez and his wife, Margaret, Tampa, Florida; two grandchildren, Anthony and Lauren Lopez; three brothers, Lawrence Strahler, Tucson, Arizona, Regis Strahler, Tucson, Arizona, and Richard Strahler, Sacramento, California; four sisters, Mary Englehart, Rootstown, Ohio, Bernadine Burza, Barberton, Ohio, Elizabeth Buckohr, Barberton, Ohio, and Martha Badunas, Barberton, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, James, Albert and Wilmer Strahler, and one sister, Sister Margaret Theresa.
Mrs. Lopez was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending the winter months in Florida with her grandchildren.
Family and friends may call at the Davis Funeral Home, One Olen Thomas Drive, Rt. 98, Clarksburg, Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Wednesday, November 24 at 1 p.m., at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Father Thomas Chacko and Father Steve Joseph as co-celebrants. Interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery. A prayer service will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Harrison County Catholic Schools or to the Sisters of St. Joseph's, Wheeling.
