Thomas J. Reischman

Obituary:

Thomas J. Reischman, 78, of Clinton, passed away Friday, July 2, 2004, after a long courageous battle with cancer. His legacy will continue through the memories of his family who loved him deeply. Tom was a self-employed master woodcrafter, and his work will be remembered by the many people whose lives he touched through his craft. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy during World War II. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Ed and Anna, and brother Robert. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Doris (nee Mattingly) Tom and Doris are the proud parents of 10 children, who are now left to grieve his memory: Cheryl Pickton, Dianne (Byron) Nelson, Mary (Dan) Nettle, Jean (David) Sayre, Joan (Ted) Geiger, Michael, Thomas, Barbara (Larry) Steiner, Rebecca (Bob) Kerr and Andrea (David) Schaub. He will be missed greatly by the grandchildren, who adored him: Brooke, Brandon, Blair, Court ney, Jeffrey, John, Randy, Ryan, Bridget, Paul, Lance, Sara, Sean, Stephanie, Mark, Justine, Christopher, and Wyatt. Great-grandchildren: Taylor, Cassidy, Chase, and Aiden. Stepgrand children, Jonathan and Rachel. Brother: Joseph (Becky). Sisters: Margaret (Bernard) Paulus, Roseanna (Jack) Steurer, Patricia Gasper, Madeline (Don) Corney, Mageline Shafer, and Kathy (Robert) Barnard. Funeral Services Wednesday, 11:00 am at the Swigart-Eas terling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton, with Archpriest Father Don Anthony Freude officiating.
