Alfred Burkhart

In the 1900 census, Alfred is called Albert.

In 1910, Alfred (26) and Mary (22) Burkhart owned a mortgaged home at 504 Price Ave. in North Braddock, Allegheny County, PA. Living with them was their son Alfred (1 yr 4 mos.). Alfred Sr. was a pattern maker at a wire mill.


Mary E. Kettering

At the time of the 1920 census, Mary was a widow living with her parents at 735 Helena St. in North Braddock The family consisted of her parents Amon (55) and Elizabeth (56); Mary's unmarried brother Joseph (29), Mary's adopted sister Dorothy (13), and Mary's children Alfred (11), Clarence (9), Kenneth (7), Norene (3 yrs 10 mos) and Katherine (2).

In 1930, 42 year old widow Mary Burkhart owned the home worth $5000 at 735 Helena St.. Living with her were her children Clarence (19), Kenneth (17), Norine L. (14), and Kathryn (13). Kenneth, Norine, and Kathryn attended school, Clarence worked as a laborer in a steel mill. Also living in the house were Mary's parents Amon (65) and Elizabeth (67) Kettering and her "adopted" sister Dorothy Kettering. All members of the household were born in Pennsylvania. The family did not own a radio.


Michael T. Brawley

In 1910, 36 year old M.T. Brawley lived with his wife of 6 years, Katherine (28) in a rented home at 523 Corey Ave. in Braddock, Allegheny Co., Pennsylvania. Living with them were their children Helen M. (4), Thomas (2), and Laura L. (2 mos.). M.T. worked as a machinist in a steel mill. He was born in Pennsylvania and Katherine was born in Ohio as were her parents. The children.were born in Pennsysylvania. According to the census, M.T.'s parents were born in the United States. At the time of the census, Katherine had given birth to 3 children, all of whom were still living.


Catherine Burkhart

At the time of the 1900 census, Catherine Burkhart (18) lived with her parents in Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. She worked as a laundress, as did her sister.


Louis E. Burkhart

In the 1900 census, Louis is called Allosius.


George Theodore Schumacher

In 1930 George T and Minnie H. Schumacher were living in Woodsfield in a home wirth $3600. George worked as a carpenter doing odd jobs.


Philomena Helen Burkhart

George and Minnie Schumacher had no children.


George E. Mayberry

Obituary (from Betty Hartley):
George E. Mayberry, 80, 63630 Mayberry Lane, Barnesville, died Tuesday,
September 14, 1999 at the Wheeling Hospital. He was born July 28, 1919, in
Barnesville, the son of the late Leonard and Ella Fisher Mayberry.
A member of the Assumption Church of Barnesville, he was also a member
of the Barnesville Elks 1699 and a retired park manager of the Barkcamp State
Park.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John May-
berry; and infant sister, Mary Ellen Mayberry.
Surviving are his wife, Clara Burkhart Mayberry; three sons, Jerry and Joe,
both of Belmont and Don of Barnesville; four daughters, Mrs. Merle (Shirley)
Behr of Alden, Minn., Carol Blackenship, Mrs. Tim (Debbie) Porter and Pam
Mayberry all of Barnesville; 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, Betheda, Thurs-
day, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday
at 10 a.m. in Assumption Catholic Church, Barnesville, with the Rev. Virgil
Reischman officiating. Burial follows in Assumption Cemetery, Barnesville.
Vigil services will be held Thursday at 8:45 p.m.in the funeral home.


Clara Magdaline Burkhart

MAYBERRY, Clara M. Burkhart, 89, of Barnesville, Ohio, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008, in Wheeling Hospital. She was born October 13, 1918 in Barnesville, a daughter of the late Joseph Burkhart and Mary Reischman Burkhart. Clara was a homemaker; a member of the Barnesville Assumption Catholic Church; and the Catholic Women?s Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, George Mayberry; sisters, Alice Burkhart, Agnes Vance, and Marcella Jefferis; and brothers, Oliver and Paul Burkhart. Surviving are daughters, Shirley (Merle) Behr of Aldon, Minn., Carol Blackenship of Bethesda, Pam (Doug) Gallaher and Debbie (Tim) Porter, all of Barnesville; sons, Jerry Mayberry of Bethesda, Donald (Linda) Mayberry of Barnesville and Joe (Charlotte) Mayberry of Belmont; 11 grand children; and four great-grand children. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, 702 East Main Street, Barnesville. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 10 a.m. at Barnesville Assumption Catholic Church with Monsignor Mark Froehlich officiating. Burial in Barnesville Assumption Cemetery. Monsignor Froehlich will hold Vigil services 2 p.m. Thursday.
