Thomas J. Schaub

Obituary:
Thomas J. (Schaubie) Schaub, age 76, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2001, at Aultman Hospital. He was born in Canton, OH, July 25, 1924, to the late Wesley and Josephine (Pillot) Schaub. Tom retired from the Louisville School System in 1986. He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Paradise United Church of Christ in Louisville and the Louisville Post of the American Legion.

He was preceded in death by a son, Charles, in 1959; four sisters, Ozelma
Stanley, Mildred Stermer, Catherine Schumacher and Velma Stewart; four
brothers, Paul, Theodore, Donald and Joseph Schaub. He is survived by his
wife, Helen (Thorn) Schaub; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sally Schaub
of the home, Susan and John Schwartzhoff of Stow; a son and daughter-in-law,
Ronald and Lisa Schaub of Highland, IN; three sisters and a brother-in-law,
Rita and Paul Hoover, Emma Schaub, all of Louisville, Mary Frank of Canton;
a brother and sister-in-law, John and Mary Ellen Schaub of Louisville; six
grandchildren, Benjamin and Thomas Schwartzhoff, Tiffany and Justin Schaub,
Rachel Schaub and Hector Leos.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the Stier-Israel Funeral Home of Louisville
with Rev. Dr. Kline Roberts III officiating. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday
(today) and one hour before services on Saturday. Interment will be in Union
Cemetery, Louisville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made
in Tom's name to the Cleveland Clinic Foundation (CCF), Dept. of Otolaryn-
gology, P.O. Box 931517, Cleveland, OH 44101.


Helen B. Thorn

Obituary:
Helen B. (Thorn) Schaub, age 83, of Louisville, passed
away Saturday, July 23, 2005 in Aultman Hospital. She was
born in Wellsville, OH September 25, 1921 to the late Eugene
and Mabel Thorn, Sr. Helen worked 24 years for the Louisville
Schools, retiring in 1986. She was a member of Paradise
United Church of Christ in Louisville.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas
Schaub in 2001; two sons, Charles Schaub in 1959 and Ronald
Schaub in 2003; one sister, Rose White and one brother, Lewis
Schaub.
Helen is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law,
Sally Schaub of Louisville, Susan and John Schwartzhoff of
Stow; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Phyllis Aberegg
of Alliance, Bernice Chevraux of Louisville, Lois and Earl
Ringer of Louisville, Martha and Robert Mowen of Warren,
OH; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Clifford and Jane Thorn
of East Canton, Eugene and Milly Thorn, Jr. of Louisville;
five grandchildren, Benjamin and Thomas Schwartzhoff,
Tiffany and Justin Schaub, Rachel Schaub.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Stier-Israel
Funeral Home in Louisville with Rev. Dr. Kline Roberts III
officiating. Friends may call one hour before services at the
funeral home. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Louisville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to

Ronald Joseph Schaub

Obituary:
Ronald J. Schaub, age 50, of Highland, IN, formerly of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2003 in Indiana. He was born in Canton, OH February 19, 1953 and was a 1971 graduate of Louisville High School and also a graduate of Ohio State University. Ron was an employee of K-Mart. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Schaub in 2001 and a brother, Charles in 1959. He is survived by his mother, Helen (Thorn) Schaub of Louisville; two daughters, Rachel Schaub of Indiana and Tiffany Schaub of California, serving with the U.S. Navy; a son, Justin Schaub of California; a stepson, Hector Leos of Indiana; two sisters and a son-in-law, Susan and John Schwartzhoff of Stow, OH, Sally Schaub of Louisville; two nephews, Ben and Thom Schwartzhoff of Stow. Services were held Saturday, July 12, 2003 in Indiana with interment following in Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the Paradise United Church of Christ in Louisville.

Sandra K. Aitken

The following wedding announcement accompanied a picture of the bride that appeared in The Time Recorder (Zanesville, OH) on June 3, 1973: SANDRA K. AITKEN MARRIES DONALD MICHEL SATURDAY Double ring marriage vows were exchanged Saturday
by Miss Sandra K. Aitken and Donald W. Michel. The wed-
ding took place at 2:30 p.m. in St. Nicholas Catholic Church
with Rev. Thomas Brosmer officiating. The bride, daughter of Mrs. Robert C. Aitken of Route 1
and the late Mr. Aitken, was given in marriage by her grand-
father, Walter H. Spiker. Mr. and Mrs. Regis E. Michel of
route 1 are the bridegroom's parents. For her wedding the former Miss Aitken wore a floor length
crepe gown which she had made. The long sleeves, the A-line
skirt and the train were trimmed with lace. Her silk illusion veil
was held to a bonnet-shaped hat of lace accented with seed
pearls. She carried a crescent arrangement of yellow and
white roses and daisies. Miss Charlotte Folden was maid of honor. She wore an
A-line floral print dress in shades of orange, pink and purple
and an orange picture hat. Her flowers were orange daisies
in an umbrella arrangement. The bridesmaids, the Misses June and Robin Aitken, wore
dresses identical to the honor attendant's with pink and purple
hats and carried matching daisies. Yvette and Karen Michel were flower girls and Tony Paynter
carried the rings. Paul Michel served as best man, and Dennis and Gene Michel
seated the guests. The wedding reception was held at the Knights of Columbus
Hall. Assistants were Mrs. Gary Archer and Mrs. Danney Paytner,
both of Dresden; Mrs. Don Hawk of Danville, the Misses Nancy
and Karen Michel and Miss Kathy Casner. Mr. and Mrs. Michel will live at 2010 Moonlight drive after a
week at Niagara Falls. The bride, a graduate of Jefferson High School in Dresden, is
a member of North Terrace Church of Christ. She is employed by
Essex International, Inc., electro-mechanical division. Mr. Michel is employed by Farm Supply Center, Inc. A graduate
of Rosecrans High School, he is a member of St. Nicholas Church
and the Knights of Columbus

Marianne A. Carney

The following wedding announcement appeared in The Times Recorder (Zanesville, OH) newspaper on March 10, 1968 MARIANNE CARNEY MARRIES BEFORE ST. NICHOLAS ALTAR In a double ring ceremony that took place Saturday
before the altar of St. Nicholas catholic Church, Miss
Marianne Carney became the bride of Paul Edward
Michel. Rev. John Ryan officiated at the nuptials at
12:30 p.m. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert
Carney of 76 East Main street, South Zanesville. Mr.
Michel is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Regis E. Michel of
North Linden avenue. Given in marriage by her father, the former Miss
Carney wore a dulcet satin A line gown, fashioned
floor length with sleeves that ended at the fingertips.
The gown was trimmed with reembroidered Alencon
lace on the bodice and skirt. Her cathedral train was
highlighted with satin buttons and motifs of the lace.
A headpiece of Alencon lace, trimmed with sequins
and pearls, held her veil of silk illusions in place. The bride carried a cascade of white carnations with
light blue trim. Mrs. George Miller, sister of the bride, was matron
of honor. She wore a pink street length dress of satin
with pink lace3 overlay. Her veil matched her dress
and she carried a cascade of white carnations trimmed
with blue. Gene Michel was best man for his brother. Ushers
were Ralph E. Kenily and Robert Sayre. The reception was held in Dury Hall in the Catholic
Youth Center. Assistants were Miss Janet Michel and
Miss Nancy Michel, sisters of the bridegroom, Mrs
James Carney, a sister-in-law of the bride, and Mrs.
Cerges (sic) Michel, aunt of Mr. Michel. The newlyweds are honeymooning in Niagara Falls. Mrs Michel is a graduate of Maysville High School. Mr. Michel, a graduate of Bishop Rosecrans High
School, is a member of St. Nicholas Church. He is em-
ployed by Farm Supply Center, Inc.


Jason Packard

Jason is the nephew of Robert and Joyce Packard. His parents died when he was young, and he was raised by his anut and uncle. Jason is a teacher in Massachusetts.


Nathan R. Packard

Nathan is a Marine, and his wife is in the Navy. They live in Washington.
