Lucy P. Lockridge

Obituary:
Lucy P. Livick, age 75, of North Canton, loving wife, mother
and grandmother, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2004 in
Aultman Hospital following a recent illness. Lucy was born May
3, 1929 in Highland County, VA to the late, Lucius H. and Minnie
S. (Terry) Lockridge. She was a former receptionist for the Hercules
Engine company, retiring in 1989, following thirteen years of service.
She was a former member of the Simpson United Methodist Church
in North Canton, Ohio Prestwick Country Club and Glenmore
Country Club.
Lucy was a gracious host and party giver who always made her
friends feel special and welcome. She was blessed with talent that she
exhibited in her cooking, painting, ceramics, knitting and quilting. Lucy
was most proud of the wonderful Afghans which she made for grand-
children who will cherish them always.
Lucy leaves behind, her husband of 49 years, Paul Livick whom she
married April 9, 1955; daughters, Linda (Stanley) Apple of Bradenton,
FL, Pamela (Edwin) White of Naples, FL and Teresa (Lawrence) Brosch
of Hartville; son, Gary W. (Ellen) Livick of North Canton; sister, Ora
Arbaugh of Stanton, VA; and grandchildren, Seth A. Apple, Melissa
Apple, Sarah Ashley Livick and Kathlin Nicole Livick. She is preceded
in death by her first husband, Bernie C. Coyner who passed away in
1952, a sister, Eula Losh and two brothers, Andrew W. and Elmer C.
Lockridge.
Funeral services for Lucy will be conducted Saturday at 12 p.m. in the
Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville with Rev. James P. Mock
officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may
call Saturday morning from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of
flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alz-
heimer's Foundation.


Kenneth J. Scheetz

Obituary:

Kenneth J. Scheetz, age 55, of Jackson Twp., died Thursday, March 8, 2001 at Mercy Medical Center, Canton, following an eight month battle with cancer. He was born on Sept. 23, 1945 in Canton, and remained a lifetime resident of the area. He was Baptist and faithfully attended the Canton Baptist Temple. He had worked at Smyth Business Systems as an assistant vice-president of sales and service, for 32 years. He then worked as an insurance agent, for the past two years, at American General Life Accident Insurance Co. He was an Army veteran and a member of the North Canton F.O.E. #2223. He had coached Jackson Girls Softball for many years, and was an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife of nearly 32 years, Laraine (Johnston) Scheetz of Jackson Twp.; one daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Anthony Bradford of Navarre; two granddaughters, Ashleigh Nichole Bradford and Madison Marie Bradford, both at home; three brothers, John Scheetz, Dick Scheetz and Don Scheetz; and three sisters, Barb Hoagland, Anna Habony and Connie Leavens. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clement and Lillian (Wahl) Scheetz and one sister, Patricia Scheetz. Funeral services will be Monday, March 12 at 10 a.m. at Heitger Funeral Service-Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Rd. NW, Jackson Twp. with Pastor Mike Frazier officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens, North Canton. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Sunday (tonight) at the funeral home.
