Beatrice Schrader

Obituary:

Beatrice I. (Schrader) Seiser, age 88, died on Mon., Feb. 4, 2002 at St. Joseph Care Center. Born in Jackson Twp., Oct. 10, 1913 to the late Mary (Violand) and Edward Schrader. Her husband, Herman E. Seiser II, died in 1970. A 1932 graduate of Louisville High School and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1935. A veteran of World War II as a First Lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corps. She received a special commendation while serving on detached service from the 203rd General Hospital to the 54th Field Hospital, July - Aug., 1944 in Northern France and Rhineland campaigns. She retired in 1979 from Mercy Hospital School of Practical Nursing, as an instructor in obstetrics. She was instrumental in the establishment of the School. Survived by two sons, Herman E. (Skip) Seiser III of Los Angeles, CA, Robert D. Seiser of New Jersey; a sister, Mrs. Joseph (Joan) Crock of Louisville; a brother, Bernard Schrader of Richmond, CA. Preceded in death by a sister, Theodosia J. Soehnlen; five brothers, Thomas, Raymond, Joseph, Amedus and Robert. A member of St. Peter Catholic Church, American Legion Post #44 and Mercy Hospital Alumni Assoc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter Catholic Church on Thursday at 10 a.m. with burial in Calvary Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Peter Church, 726 Cleveland Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44702 or to St. Joseph Care Center, 2308 Reno Dr. NE, Louisville, OH 44641.


Helen I. Paumier

Obituary:
Helen I. Peer, age 89, of Louisville, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2000, in St. Joseph Care Center following an extended illness. Helen was born July 10, 1911, in Louisville, the daughter of the late Paul and Lorena (Clark) Paumier. She was a graduate of Louisville High School Class of 1930 and the Mercy School of Nursing Class of 1933. Helen was the past owner of Peers Dairy Store in Louisville, which she operated with her husband for 32 years. She was a former surgical nurse at the old Mercy Hospital, retiring in 1971. Helen was the recipient of the Ed Carlson Senior Citizen Award, which was given to her by the Louisville Kiwanis Club in 1988. She was a member and past president of the Town and Country Garden Club and the Diocese of Youngstown Catholic Women's Organization. She was a member of the Mercy Alumni Association, the Julliard Senior Center and was active with the Red Cross Blood Bank. Helen was a member of St. Louis Church and St. Ann's Altar and Rosary Society. Helen leaves behind two daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia and Frank Kerchner of Louisville and Linda and Gary Byers of Libertyville, IL; a son and daughter-in-law, Eben A. "Butch" and Sandra Peer of Louisville; a sister, Pauline Saunders of Trenton, MI; nine grandchildren, Kristina Hamsher, Kaolene Metzger, Kent Kerchner, Keith "K.C." Kerchner, Stephanni Ellenberger, Kimberly Peer, Eben Peer III, Michael Byers and Brett Byers; and 14 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eben A. Peer who passed away May 15, 1971, a sister, Erdine Zwick and four brothers, Eustace, Claude, Donald and Marion Paumier. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Louis Church with Msgr. Kenneth Miller officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday 4-8 p.m. at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville. The family wishes to thank all those who attended to and cared for Helen while she was at St. Joseph Care Center. Their special love for her will always be appreciated. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Care Center in Helen's memory.


Ray A. Yoder

Obituary:

Ray A. Yoder, age 89, of Canton, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2000 at Aultman Hospital. He was born in Louisville, May 6, 1910, to the late Forrest and Alma (Wilson) Yoder. He was self-employed in the body and fender business, later establishing the R.A. Yoder GMC Truck Sales Service. In his later years, he was the owner of Yoder's General Store in Maximo and was the former owner of Sunset Park Recreation in Marlboro. He was a member of the Paradise United Church of Christ in Louisville, Nimishillen Grange, Homeworth Lodge #499 FAM. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of Victor, CO Elks Lodge. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Russell, Cletus, Joe, Wayne and Blanchard Yoder; two sisters, HazelYoder and Luree Lippincott. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Schillig) Yoder, whom he married August 11, 1932; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Shirley Yoder of Louisville; three daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and John Scott of Naperville, IL, Marjorie and August Dhayer of Alliance, Hazel and Fritz Wurgler of North Canton; a sister, May Garrett of Hemet, CA; ten grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Stier-Israel Funeral Home of Louisville with Rev. Dr. Kline Roberts III officiating. Friends may call Friday 7-9 p.m. and one hour before services at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fairmount Memorial Park, Alliance. Nimishillen Grange will hold services 6:15 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Masonic Services will be held at 6:45 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Paradise United Church of Christ in Louisville or the Canton Christian Home


Margaret M. Schillig

Obituary:
Margaret Mary (Schillig) Yoder, age 89, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2000, in the Canton Christian Home. Born December 8, 1910, in Maximo, OH., to the late Charles and Louise (Miday) Schillig. Margaret was a home maker; a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Maximo, the Altar and Rosary Society of the Church, and the Nimishillen Grange. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Ray A. Yoder, who passed away in January of this year; two sisters, Helen Schwall Hohman, Mary Bresson; and one brother, Paul Schillig. Margaret is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and John Scott of Naperville, IL., Marjorie and August Dhayer of Alliance, Hazel and Fritz Wurgler of North Canton; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Shirley Yoder of Louisville; one sister, Marcelline Frank of Alliance; one brother, Robert Schillig of Port Clinton, OH; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Fr. John Schmidt officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home, Louisville. Interment will be in Fairmount Memorial Park, Alliance, OH.
