Beatrice I. (Schrader) Seiser, age 88, died on Mon., Feb. 4, 2002 at St.Joseph Care Center. Born in Jackson Twp., Oct. 10, 1913 to the late Mary(Violand) and Edward Schrader. Her husband, Herman E. Seiser II, died in1970. A 1932 graduate of Louisville High School and Mercy Hospital School ofNursing in 1935. A veteran of World War II as a First Lieutenant in the ArmyNurse Corps. She received a special commendation while serving on detachedservice from the 203rd General Hospital to the 54th Field Hospital, July -Aug., 1944 in Northern France and Rhineland campaigns. She retired in 1979from Mercy Hospital School of Practical Nursing, as an instructor inobstetrics. She was instrumental in the establishment of the School.Survived by two sons, Herman E. (Skip) Seiser III of Los Angeles, CA, RobertD. Seiser of New Jersey; a sister, Mrs. Joseph (Joan) Crock of Louisville; abrother, Bernard Schrader of Richmond, CA. Preceded in death by a sister,Theodosia J. Soehnlen; five brothers, Thomas, Raymond, Joseph, Amedus andRobert. A member of St. Peter Catholic Church, American Legion Post #44 andMercy Hospital Alumni Assoc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebratedat St. Peter Catholic Church on Thursday at 10 a.m. with burial in CalvaryCemetery. There will be no calling hours. Helen I. Peer, age 89, of Louisville, loving mother, grandmother andgreat-grandmother, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2000, in St. Joseph CareCenter following an extended illness. Helen was born July 10, 1911, inLouisville, the daughter of the late Paul and Lorena (Clark) Paumier. Shewas a graduate of Louisville High School Class of 1930 and the Mercy Schoolof Nursing Class of 1933. Helen was the past owner of Peers Dairy Store inLouisville, which she operated with her husband for 32 years. She was aformer surgical nurse at the old Mercy Hospital, retiring in 1971. Helen wasthe recipient of the Ed Carlson Senior Citizen Award, which was given to herby the Louisville Kiwanis Club in 1988. She was a member and past presidentof the Town and Country Garden Club and the Diocese of Youngstown CatholicWomen's Organization. She was a member of the Mercy Alumni Association, theJulliard Senior Center and was active with the Red Cross Blood Bank. Helenwas a member of St. Louis Church and St. Ann's Altar and Rosary Society.Helen leaves behind two daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia and FrankKerchner of Louisville and Linda and Gary Byers of Libertyville, IL; a sonand daughter-in-law, Eben A. "Butch" and Sandra Peer of Louisville; asister, Pauline Saunders of Trenton, MI; nine grandchildren, KristinaHamsher, Kaolene Metzger, Kent Kerchner, Keith "K.C." Kerchner, StephanniEllenberger, Kimberly Peer, Eben Peer III, Michael Byers and Brett Byers;and 14 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eben A.Peer who passed away May 15, 1971, a sister, Erdine Zwick and four brothers,Eustace, Claude, Donald and Marion Paumier. A Mass of Christian Burial willbe celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Louis Church with Msgr. KennethMiller officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may callTuesday 4-8 p.m. at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville. The familywishes to thank all those who attended to and cared for Helen while she wasat St. Joseph Care Center. Ray A. Yoder, age 89, of Canton, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2000 atAultman Hospital. He was born in Louisville, May 6, 1910, to the lateForrest and Alma (Wilson) Yoder. He was self-employed in the body and fenderbusiness, later establishing the R.A. Yoder GMC Truck Sales Service. In hislater years, he was the owner of Yoder's General Store in Maximo and was theformer owner of Sunset Park Recreation in Marlboro. He was a member of theParadise United Church of Christ in Louisville, Nimishillen Grange,Homeworth Lodge #499 FAM. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of Victor, COElks Lodge. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Russell, Cletus, Joe,Wayne and Blanchard Yoder; two sisters, HazelYoder and Luree Lippincott. Heis survived by his wife, Margaret (Schillig) Yoder, whom he married August11, 1932; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Shirley Yoder of Louisville;three daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and John Scott of Naperville, IL,Marjorie and August Dhayer of Alliance, Hazel and Fritz Wurgler of NorthCanton; a sister, May Garrett of Hemet, CA; ten grandchildren; 12great-grandchildren. Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in theStier-Israel Funeral Home of Louisville with Rev. Dr. Kline Roberts IIIofficiating. Margaret was a home maker;a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Maximo, the Altar and RosarySociety of the Church, and the Nimishillen Grange. She was also preceded indeath by her husband of 67 years, Ray A. Yoder, who passed away in Januaryof this year; two sisters, Helen Schwall Hohman, Mary Bresson; and onebrother, Paul Schillig. Margaret is survived by three daughters andsons-in-law, Betty and John Scott of Naperville, IL., Marjorie and AugustDhayer of Alliance, Hazel and Fritz Wurgler of North Canton; one son anddaughter-in-law, Robert and Shirley Yoder of Louisville; one sister,Marcelline Frank of Alliance; one brother, Robert Schillig of Port Clinton,OH; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
