Wedding announcement:
MISS GRIFFIN ANNOUNCES NUPTIAL DATE
Miss Cheryl Elaine Griffin has chosen Saturday, Sept. 3 [1966]
as the date for her wedding to Danny Elliot Hupp, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Paul U. Hupp of 836 Caldwell street. The wedding will take place at
12:30 p.m. in St. Nicholas Catholic Church.
The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley D. Griffin of 1040
Adair avenue, has asked Miss Linda Harlan to be her honor attendant.
Bridesmaids will be Mrs. Dale Hohman and Miss Sharon Burke. The
junior bridesmaid will be Miss Susan Hupp.
Vicki Griffin, niece of the bride, and Rhonda Jones will be flower
girls. The rings will be carried by Randy Jones.
David Hupp, brother of the bridegroom, will be best man. Ushers
will be David Estadt, James Hardcastle, Gerald Combs, and Rick Dunn.
Following the wedding there will be a reception in Dury Hall at the
Catholic Youth Center. Aides will be Mrs. Donald Griffin, sister-in-law of
the bride, Miss Betty Bash, a cousin, Miss Linda Moore and Miss Judy
Paulus.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Zanesville High School and is
employed by Prudential Insurance Co. She and her fiancé are members of
St. Nicholas Church.
Mr. Hupp, a graduate of Zanesville High School, attends Ohio
University at Zanesville. The couple’s engagement was announced Nov.
21.
