Walter G. Ebbert

In 1930, Walter Ebbert (28) owned a home worth $10,000 at 1141 Cornell St. in Pittsburgh, PA. Living with him were his wife, Winifred (26), and children Mary (3) and Walter Jr. (1). Walter Sr. worked as a conductor on an electric railroad. He was a veteran of the World War. The Ebbert family did not own a radio set. A portion of their home was rented out to another couple: Gustav and Veronica Taubert.

In 1900, Alexander Baker lived with the family of his younger brother, Andrew, in Elk Twp., Noble County, Ohio.

Raymond H. Kramer

Obituary of Raymond Kramer from the Canton Repository, 27 Jul 2006
Raymond H. Kramer, age 76, of Navarre, died Wednesday July 26, 2006 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. He was born August 15, 1929 in Canton to the late Marcel and Adeline (Schafer) Kramer. Raymond was an Army Korean War veteran where he was awarded two bronze stars. He was a life resident of the Canton and Navarre area, retiring from American Electric Power in 1992 after 42 years of service. Member of Ohio Power Retirees and a life member of VFW Post #5047, Navarre.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Wilbur Kramer; one sister, Virginia Hare.
Survived by his wife, Shirley Ann (Mallcheck) to whom he was married 54 years; one son, Joseph Kramer of Navarre; two granddaughters, Michelle and Lauren Kramer both of Navarre; one sister and brother-in-law, Mildred and Thomas Hare of Canton; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Albert and Shirley Kramer of Texas, Paul and Florence Kramer of Dover; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday July 29, 2006 at 10 a.m. in Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Homes on S. Cleveland Ave. with Fr. Edward Beneleit officiating. Interment in Calvary Cemetery.
