Charley A. Miller

At the time of the 1930 census, Charley A. Miller was a 67 year old widowed farm laborer who lived on a rented farm in Marion Twp., Noble County, Ohio with his married daughter and son-in-law, Rosa (24) and Delbert Miller (48) and their children, Charles E. (4 yrs 3 mos) and Dwight (8 mos). Delbert worked in a coal mine. Everyone in the household was born in Ohio, as were their parents. The Miller family did not own a radio set.


Herman Thieman

In 1900, Herman Tiemann (35 - April 1865) lived with his wife Amanda (25 - Oct 1874) and daughter Margariete (4 - Oct 1895) in ahome he owned in Bethel Twp., Allegheny Co., Pennsylvania. ccording to the census, Herman and his parents were born in Pennsylvania. (This conflicts with other information which give the place of birth for Herman's parents as Germany.) Amanda, Margariete and Amanda's parents were alos born in Pennsylvania. Herman worked as a carpenter.

In 1910, 44 year old Herman J. Teaman lived with his wife Amanda (36) in a house they owned on Rail Road Street in Baldwin Twp., Allegheny Co., Pennsylvania. They had been married for 18 years. Living with them were their children Margaret (14) and Albert (6). All members of the household as well as Amanda's parents were born in Pennsylvania; Herman's parents were born in Germany.
