Sharon Kay Mitchell

The following note appeared in the “Chit Chat” column of the Zanesville Signal on 20 Mar 1957
The daughter born at Good Samaritan hospital
to Mr. and Mrs. Walter Mitchell of Route 6 has been
named Sharon Kay. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs.
James Hesson of Macksburg and Mr. and Mrs. Alex
Bettinger of Caldwell. The mother is the former Louise
Hesson of Macksburg. The baby was the first born in
the new addition at Good Samaritan hospital.

The grandparents listed in the above article appear to be incorrect. One couple should be Walter Mitchell’s parents. The people listed are probably the maternal grandparents and great-grandparents.
