Cynthia Ann Kessler

The following birth announcment appeared in The Zanesville (OH) Signal newspaper on January 5, 1949 PARENTS NAME NEW YEAR'S BABY The New Year's baby eligible for prizes to be awarded by enterprising
Zanesville merchants, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Kessler of
Dillon Falls road, has been named Cynthia Ann. The child, born at 5:08 o'clock in the morning on New Year's Day
weighed five pounds and 11 ounces.

The following wedding announcement appeared in The Times Recorder (Zanesville, OH) newspaper on August 31, 1969: MISS KESSLER, MR. McCLOUD WED AT ST. NICHOLAS ALTAR The wedding of Miss Cynthia Ann Kessler and Charles Robert
McCloud was an event of Saturday before the altar of St. Nicholas
Catholic Church. Msgr. Linus J. Dury heard the couple recite their
marriage vows at 12:30 p.m. Saturday's bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James R. Kessler
of Route 3 and her bridegroom is the son of Robert W. McCloud of
Hopewell Route 1 and the late Mrs. Edith Kovaleski McCloud. Mr. Kessler walked to the altar with his daughter and gave her in
marriage. She wore a floor length empire gown with A-line skirt with long
sleeves. The dress was fashioned of silk organza over taffeta with
Venice lace at the cuffs and neckline. The lace was repeated on
the chapel length veil. Her flowers were white carnations centered
with a white rose and outlined with daisies. A sister of the bride, Miss Sandy Kessler, was honor attendant.
She wore yellow chiffon with white lace bodice, round neckline and
long sleeves. A green satin sash marked the empire waistline and
her headpiece was a matching green picture hat. Miss Sheila Steward, Miss Vickie Miller, cousin of the bride, Miss
Linda Rose, and Miss Connie Kessler, the bride's sister, were brides-
maids. They also wore dresses identical to the honor attendants and
yellow picture hats. The bridesmaids carried bouquets of carnations and daisies con-
nected to a daisy chain. Pattie Miller, cousin of the bride, and Michael Durant were flower
girl and ring bearer. Richard Pryor was Mr. McCloud's best man. Serving as ushers
were Chuck Murrey, Clarence Holbein and Mike McDonald of
Columbus. The reception at Knights of Columbus Hall where assistants were
Mrs. Richard Pryor, Mrs. Cathy Guss, Mrs. Clarence Holbein,
sister of the bridegroom, Miss Donna Civert and Miss Juanita Ankrum,
the bridegroom's step-sister. During the afternoon Mr. and Mrs. McCloud left for a Canadian
wedding trip. Later they will reside in Garfield. Mrs. McCloud, a graduate of West Muskingum High School, is a
member of St. Nicholas Church. She has been employed by First
Trust and Savings Bank. Her husband, a graduate of West Muskingum High School, is a
manager trainee of Universal CIT. He is a member of Mount Perry
United Methodist Church.


Connie Lou Kessler

The following wedding announcement appeared in The Times Recorder (Zanesville, OH) newspaper on November 17, 1974: CONNIE LOU KESSLER WEDS MARC JESSE The altar of St. Nicholas Catholic Church provided the setting for
the wedding of Miss Connie Lou Kessler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
James R. Kessler of 4335 Pinecrest drive, to Marc D. Jesse, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Jesse of 3659 Kay drive. Msgr. Linus J.
Dury performed the double ring ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor length gown
with Venice lace fashioning the portrait neckline and empire waist.
The long sleeves were edged with lace. Her chapel length mantilla
was outlined with the Venice lace and held in place by a Juliet cap. Miss Nancy Hill, the honor attendant, wore dusty rose polyester
and crepe, designed with a halter and high neckline of Venice lace.
She wore a long sleeved matching bolero. Miss Jodi Tery, Miss Susie Kearns and Miss Theresa Bell, Mrs.
Charles McCloud and Mrs. Lee Higins, sisters of the bride, and
Mrs Gerald Riggle, sister of the bridegroom, served as bridesmaids.
There dresses were styled the same as Miss Hill's but in green. Carrie Ann McCloud, niece of the bride, was flower girl. The rings
were carried by Gary Riggle, nephew of the bridegroom. Randy Tisonyai was Mr. Jesse's best man. Craig Raggas of New
York, Micky McNeish, Mark Fuller, Mark Malcom, Rick Jesse, brother
of the bridegroom, and Jim Fracker were ushers. The reception followed at the Eagle's Ballroom. Serving as assistants
were Mrs. Daniel Miracle, sister of the bride, Mrs. Jerry Weiser, Miss
Sheila Stewart, Mrs. Pete Rapol, Mrs. Robert Harris, Miss Nancy
Lemmon, and Mrs. Robert Kowalski. When the newlyweds return from a honeymoon in the Pocono
Mountains of Pennsylvania they will live at 535 McConnell avenue. Saturday's bride is a 1973 graduate of West Muskingum High School.
She is chairside assistant to William B. Hill, DDS. Mrs. Jesse is a
member of St. Nicholas Church. Mr. Jesse, a 1972 graduate of West Muskingum High School, is
a student at Muskingum Area Technical College. He is a member
of Brighton Presbyterian Church
