Announcement is made of the engagement of Miss Mary Beth Hudak, of 1942 Euclid avenue and Thomas M. Hudak of Rockledge, Fla., to Thomas H. Davis, son of Mrs. Herbert Davis of 832 Ayers street and the late Mr. Davis.
Miss Hudak is a 1971 graduate of Wintersville High School and a 1974 graduate of Muskingum Area Technical College. She is employed by Heart of Ohio Girl Scout Council.
Mr. Davis is a 1964 graduate of Zanesville High School. He is employed by Brockway Glass Co.
Both are members of St. Nicholas Catholic church where they will wed on Saturday, Nov. 29.

NUPTIAL PLANS COMPLETED BY COUPLE
Miss Judith Elaine Schafer and Robert R. Kessler have completed plans for their wedding, which is to take place at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Nicholas Catholic church. The single ring ceremony will be solemnized by Msgr. Linus Dury.
Miss Schafer is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Schafer of 842 Orchard Hill road. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kessler of 281 Pleasant Grove road are the bridegroom’s parents.
Mrs. Eugene Strahler of McFarland, Wis., will be matron of honor for her sister. Mrs. Robert Harnetty, sister of the bride, and Miss Karen Kessler, sister of the bridegroom, will be bridesmaids. Mary Anne Archer, niece of the bride, will be flower girl.
Lawrence Burkhart will serve as best man. Ushers will be Ronald Schafer of Detroit, Mich., brother of the bride, Michael White and Thomas Svihlik of Parma.
A reception will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at the home of the bride’s parents following the ceremony. Miss Rosalie Schafer of Fort Clinton, cousin of he bride, and Miss Wanda Hagley will be assistants. Miss Debbie Davis, cousin of the bridegroom, will register the guests.
Miss Schafer is a graduate of Rosecrans High School and is employed by Armco Steel Corporation in the accounting department. She is a member of St. Nicholas Catholic church.
Mr. Kessler, also a member of St. Nicholas Church, is a graduate of Zanesville High School and will be a senior at Ohio University. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
