MAYSVILLE -- Miss Mary Margaret Schumacher, 60, of Cincinnati, died Monday, Sept. 24, 2007, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati after a long battle with ovarian cancer. She was born in Maysville, Jan. 20, 1947, to Ann Holland Schumacher of Maysville and the late Edward L. Schumacher. Miss Schumacher was a 1965 graduate of Mason County High School and received a bachelor of science in dietetics and home economics from Eastern Kentucky University, in Richmond, in 1969. She completed her dietetic internship at Good Samaritan Hospital, Cincinnati in 1970 and worked as an administrative and clinical dietician at Good Samaritan for 37 years. She also volunteered for 20 years as a clinical dietician for Little Sisters of the Poor on Riddle Road in Cincinnati. In addition to her mother, she is survived by one sister, Rose Schumacher of Cincinnati; two brothers, Richard (Susan) Schumacher of Maysville and Edward L.(Nancy) Schumacher of Atlanta; two nieces; and two nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Sept. 28, 2007, at St. Patrick’s Church with Rev. Albert Fritsch officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
