Gregory John Schilling

BEVERLY - Gregory John Schilling, 39, of Beverly, passed from this life Tuesday morning (Nov. 25, 2008), to go home to be with his Lord, at his home surrounded by family.
He was born July 9, 1969, in Marietta, Ohio, son of Charles and Lillian Huck Schilling of Beverly.
He married Lori Spencer Schilling on Nov. 9, 1996. They have three children, Jordan, 10, Zachary, 8, and Bryce, 5, whom he loved and adored. He loved taking them on ranger rides and coaching and playing sports. He enjoyed golfing, racing and spending time with his family at the family campground. Greg was self-employed since 1995 at Muskingum Lube and Detail. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Beverly.
He is survived by his wife, Lori, and their three children; his parents, Charles and Lillian Schilling of Beverly; godparents, Bernard and Marilyn Schilling; his grandmother, Elizabeth Schilling; two sisters, Anita (Doug) Henry and Lori (Dave) Meek, and three brothers, Jeff (Carma) Schilling, Joe (Keitha) Schilling and Charlie (Karri) Schilling, all of Beverly; 18 nieces and nephews; one great-nephew; his mother- and father-in-law, Ralph and Carolyn Spencer, and brother-in-law, Brian, of Waterford.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Schilling, and Herbert and Clara Huck; an aunt, Ruth Mayo; and an uncle, Dave Miller.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Bernard Catholic Church with Monsignor Robert Kawa officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Friday at the St. Bernard Social Hall, where a Christian wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. McCurdy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
