The following note appeared on page 4 of the Zanesville Signal on 8 Jan 1926:
HARRIETTSVILLE -- Mr. and Mrs. Edward Schoeppner
spent Sunday at Caldwell.

Living in the household of 25 year old Edward Schoeppner (Scheppner) at the time of the 1910 census were his 26 year old wife Rosa and their sons Clarence (4) and Elmer (< 1).

From "Schoeppner Family" by Joann Schoeppner Cummings:
After moving to several locations early in their marriage,
Ed and Rose made their home in Harrietsville, [Noble Co.,] OH.
Their first home was destroyed in the disastrous flood of 1913.
Ed stayed in the house to move the furniture upstairs. The water
rose so fast that it was level with the second floor windows when
someone got to him with a boat. The flood took most of the homes
in the area. After the flood, they built a new home on the hill behind
St. Henry's Catholic Church, which the family attended faithfully.
All of Ed and Rose's sons were altar boys, as well as grandsons
and great grandsons from 1915 to 1979. Ed was a farmer, black-
smith, wheelwright, and in later years worked at the Marietta
Concrete Plant in Marietta OH until his retirement.

Edward G. Schoeppner's obituary was published in the Zanesville Times Recorder on 8 Jan 1969:
