Matilda Hohman

Delores Snider lists two children born to J. Morris Hohman on 30 Jun 1849: Matilda and Mary. However, Mary does not appear in any census, although Matilda appears in the 1850, 1860, and 1870 census with her parents and siblings.

This researcher (L. Coburger) believes that there was only one child born on that date: Matilda. It's possible that the confustion stems from the 1870 census, in which there are two 21 year old women in the house: Matilda and Mary. Matilda's occupation is "helps mother." Mary's occupation is "helps mother in law." The words "in law" are easy to miss, since they're written very small above the words "helps mother." Listed immediately before Mary is Ferdiand Hohman. Ferdinand married Mary Smithberger on 15 Feb 1870, a few months before the census.
