William George Zwick Jr

William and Eileen Zwick of Minerva celebrated their 50th anniversary Nov.
13 with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. in the home of their daughter and son-
in-law, Katherine and Dale Fausnight of Louisville. The open house was given
by their children and their spouses, Katherine and Dale Fausnight; Edward and
Darlene Zwick of Paris, Theresa and Paul Riemenschneider and David Zwick of
Minerva, and Charlene and Charles DeBolt of Barnesville.
The former Eileen Wey and her husband were married Nov. 20, 1954, in St.
Louis Catholic Church in Louisville by the Rev. John Sargeant. They have nine
grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
William is retired from Freshmark. Eileen is a homemaker.
They request no gifts.


Paul P. Paumier

P. PAUMIER AND GRANDSON INJURED BY
CHARGING COW
Paul Paumier was seriously injured at his barn
Monday evening in rescuing his grandson, Bernard Paumier,
from the attack of a cow.
The two were driving the cattle into the barn when
one of the cows turned on Bernard, inflicting bruises and
scratches. Mr. Paumer seized a stick and in diverting the
animal’s attention was knocked down an embankment. He
suffered fracture of several ribs and internal injuries. He is
receiving medical attention at his home.

Francis X. Paumier

In 1900, the Paumier family owned a farm in Louisville. Members of the household were Francis X. Paumier (60), his wife Rose (55), and children Anna (31), Charles (30), Otilla (27), John (24), Ermin (21), Vincent (19), Olysius (14) and Raymond (9). Ermin, Olysius and Raymond attended school. Francis and his son Vincent worked on the farm. Anna was a tailoress, Charles and John were employed as machinists. Otilla was a nurse. Everyone in the home was a native of Ohio except Rose, who was from Germany. According to the census, Rose had given birth to 11 children, 2 of whom were deceased.

At the time of the 1910 census, widowed farmer Frank Paumier lived on a farm on N. Chapel St. In Louisville. Other members of the household were his unmarried children Anna M. (41), Charles L. (39), Vincent J. (21), Aloysius (24) and Raymond C. (19). Anna was employed as a tailoress at home. Charles was a poultry salesman. Aloysius was a poultry dealer, and Vincent and Raymond worked on the family farm.

In 1920, 80 year old widower Frank Paumier and his unmarried daughter Anna (51) still lived on a farm on N. Chapel St. in Louisville. Neither one had an occupation listed in the census. Both were natives of Ohio. Frank's parents were from France. Anna's late mother was a native of Bavaria, Germany, according to the census.
