ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCED
The engagement of Miss Joy Schumacher to Mr. Albert
Patrick Zwick, son of Mrs. H. S. Zwick of Louisville, has been
announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William A. Schumacher
of Cincinnati. Miss Schumacher is a senior at the University of
Cincinnati Teachers College and is a member of Alpha Delta Pi
and Pi Theta. Her fiancé, a World War II veteran, has resumed his
studies at the university’s college of engineering. He is a member
of Pi Kappa Alpha. The wedding date has not been set.


Thomas P. Zwick

Anniversary announcement:

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas P. Zwick of Louisville are celebrating their 50th anniversary today with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Louisville Eagles at 306 W. Main St. The open house is given by their children, David Zwick of Louisville and Paula Harris of Poland, Ohio. The former Marilyn Mickley and her husband were married Aug. 26, 1950, in St. Louis Catholic Church in Louisville, where they still attend, by the Rev. Paul J. Dehnke. There are four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Zwick is retired from Zwick's Department Store. He is the mayor of Louisville. Mrs. Zwick is a Viviane Woodard Cosmetics distributor. They request no gifts.


Mark L. Zwick

Mark Zwick was ordained a priest. He later left the priesthood and married. He was living in Houston, TX in Mar 2000.

Harold John Heppner

Obituary:
Harold J. Heppner, age 62, of 5261 Meese St. NE Louisville, passed away Wednesday afternoon July 8 [1981] at Timken Mercy Medical Center following a sudden illness.
Born in Noble County May 1, 1919 to the late Fred and Adeline Miller Heppner, he lived in the Louisville area for 60 years. He worked for the Hoover Co. for 30 years, retiring in 1977. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, Louisville K of C Council 2530, Harrisburg Catholic Order of Foresters, and was a World War II Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by one brother, Bernard, in 1974.
He is survived by his wife, Luella (Schott) of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Timothy (Karen) O’Brien of Louisville, two sons, Ted Heppner of Evanston, Ill., and David Heppner of the home, one grandchild, Kimberley O’Brien.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday at 11 AM in St. Louis Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. Friends called at the Paquelet Funeral Home Friday, K of C and Foresters services were also held at the funeral home on Friday.

Theodore J. Heppner

Obituary:
Theodore J. Heppner, age 50, of Winnetka, IL passed away suddenly on August 12, 2001. He was born in Canton and a former resident of Louisville, he served as Choral Director of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Winnetka, IL.
Ted is survived by his loving mother, Luella Heppner; sister Karen (Tim) O’Brien; brother, David (Diana) Heppner, nieces Kimberly and Kellie O’Brien and nephews Zachary, Mitchell and David Heppner, all of Louisville, and life partner Gregory Tabaczynski of Winnetka, IL. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold J. Heppner.
A mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on August 20, 2001 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Winnetka, IL. A graveside service and burial were conducted on August 22, 2001 in St. Louis Parish Cemetery in Louisville. Local arrangements were entrusted to the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville.

Terrence M. Haren

Obituary:
Terry M. Haren, age 28, of 2484 Spade Rd. Uniontown, was pronounced dead on arrival at Akron City Hospital following a single care accident near Uniontown. [09 Aug 1981]
Born May 11, 1953, to Marvin and Barbara Zwick Haren, he was employed at the Goodyear Aerospace Co. of Akron as a numerical control program controller. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic church, St. Thomas Aquinas High School Class of 1971, Stark Tech Class of 1974, and Louisville Knights of Columbus Council 2530.
Besides his parents, he is survived by three brothers, Mark Haren of Louisville, Tim Haren of Canton, and Larry Haren, Newark, OH.; two sisters, Mrs. Donald (Mary Ann) Shafer of Louisville, and Susan Haren of Louisville, Oh., grandmother Mrs. Florence Zwick of Louisville.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday at 10 AM in St. Louis Church with burial in the church cemetery. Friends called at the Paquelet Funeral Home Tuesday. K of C services were held Tuesday in the funeral home.
