Andrew Paul Hohman

HOME-MADE ‘COPTER FALLS; NOBLE CO. BOY INJURED
Andrew Hohman, 7, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Hohman of Caldwell
Route 4, sustained minor injuries Wednesday when his experiment with a
home-made helicopter fell through. He was treated at Good Samaritan
hospital for a bitten tongue and cuts on his face and was later dismissed.
The boy fell with his jerry-built whirlybird from the top of an oil storage
tank on the family farm. Members of the family reported the bottom dropped
out of his craft.

Like his uncle, for whom he was named, Andrew Hohman joined the priesthood. He later left the order and married Donna Proctor. In 2003, they lived in Indianapolis.

CEREMONY TAKES PLACE AT FULDA
St. Mary's Catholic Church at Fulda was the scene of the wedding Saturday
in which Miss Theresa Ann Hohman of 625 Fairmont avenue, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Bernard F. Hohman of Caldwell Route 4, exchanged vows with Patrick
N. Paul, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Paul of Lawhead lane. Rev. Walter
Heinz officiated at the double ring ceremony at 1:30 p.m.
The bride walked to the altar with her father by whom she was given in marriage.
She wore an empire style gown of white organza over taffeta. The dress featured
lace lantern sleeves and a panel of lace which extended down the front. Lace also
trimmed the train and the high stand-up collar was also lace. Her shoulder length
veil was attached to a Juliet cap and she carried a bouquet of red poinsettias.
The honor attendant, Miss Sandy Schoeppner, wore dark green velvet with long
full sleeves and carried a single red poinsettia. Sisters of the bride, Mrs. Terry Finley
and Mrs. Lyn Goslin, were bridesmaids. They wore gold colored velvet dresses and
each carried a poinsettia.
Ken Frankhouser of Findlay was best man for Mr. Paul. Ushers were brothers
of the bridegroom, Larry and Victor Paul.
The reception followed in St. Mary's Church Hall where assistants were Miss
Janice Crim, Mrs. James Ogle and Mrs. Daniel Schehl.
Mr. Paul and his bride will live at 124 East Jefferson street, Sandusky. The former
Miss Hohman is a 1968 graduate of Caldwell High School and attended Good Samaritan
School of Nursing. She has been employed at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Mrs.
Paul is a member of the church in which she was married.
Mr. Paul is a 1968 graduate of Bishop Rosecrans High School and a 1972 graduate
of Ohio University. He is an English teacher at Perkins Middle School in Sandusky.
Mr. Paul is a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church.
