Thomas William Crock

Obituary:
Thomas W. Crock Sr., 73, of Greensburg, died Friday, June 6, 1997, at Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. He was born Aug. 15, 1923, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Roy A. Sr. and Anna Dickson Crock. He was a retired automobile dealer, having formerly owned a Chrysler Plymouthdealer-
ship in Irwin. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member
of Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, Youngwood, the Hempfield Hunt Club,
the A&B Club of Youngwood and the Roosevelt Club of South Greensburg.
Surviving are his wife, Catherine Lapitsky Crock; two sons, Thomas W. Crock Jr. and his wife, Shirley, of Delmont and James D. Crock and his wife, Jennifer,
of Ormond Beach, Fla.; three grandchildren, Tom W. Crock III, Holly A. Crock
and Mary Catherine Crock; and a brother, Roy A. Crock Jr. of Pittsburgh. Be-
sides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Crock.

Friends will be received at the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc., Young-
wood, from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. A
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in Holy Cross R.C. Church,
Youngwood, with the Rev. Father Angelo G. Ciuffoletti as celebrant. Interment
to follow at Henderson Cemetery, Harmar Township. Prayer service will be held
at 3 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.

Crock.
Preceded in death by parents; husband, William S.,
who died in 1995; brother, Bob; and sister, Pat. Survived
by children, Marcia, married to Richard Strittmatter, Enola;
Susan, married to Donald Thomas, Baltimore, Md.; Kath-
leen Dill, Johnstown; Nancy Jean, married to Joseph Von
Tersch, Chesapeake, Va.; Patricia Lynn Dill, California;
William R., married to Rosalie, Johnstown; Robert A.,
married to Michelle (Riley), Houston, Texas; and Mary T.,
married to Sean Casey, Mount Pocono; nephew, Richard,
married to Laura Robidoux, Philadelphia; niece, Barbara,
married to David Karlie, San Diego, Calif.; my adopted
children loved like my own; 23 grandchildren; and aunt,
Isabelle Thomas.
Volunteer for the Red Cross, YMCA and Mercy Hospital
Guild. Member of St. Stephen Catholic Church, where funeral
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Andrew
C. Stanko.

Funeral Home, Westmont chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd., where
vigil service will be held Sunday afternoon. Rosary will be
