In 1930, 17 year old Russell Hohman lived with his parents and younger siblings in Swede Creek Twp., Riley County, Kansas. He was employed as laborer in bridge construction.

Juanita L. Hohman

Obituary:
NEWTON--Juanita L. "Nita" Kline, 78, died Saturday,
Dec. 30, 2000, at Newton Medical Center. Mrs. Kline was
born July 20, 1922, at Stockdale, the daughter of Floyd and
Elsie (Hinton) Hohman. She was a teller for Midland National
Bank for 33 years until she retired. Mrs. Kline was a member
of First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two
sisters. She married Leroy "Jack" Kline Dec. 11, 1943, in Wichita,
and he survives. Additional survivors include a son, Jim Kline of
Minneapolis, Minn.; a daughter, Diane Kline of Topeka; a brother,
Bob Hohman of Fort Worth, Texas; a sister, Pat Erickson of Leonard-
ville; and two grandchildren.
A funeral service was held today at Petersen Funeral
Home in Newton with the Rev. Pam Martinez officiating. Burial
was in Whitewater Cemetery at Whitewater. Memorial contribu-
tions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
