LeRoy Philip Frank

In 1930, 35 year old Leroy Frank owned a farm in Marlboro Twp., Stark Co., Ohio where he lived with his wife Julitta (33) and children Beatrice (12), Pauline (10), Herman (8), Marcella (7), Mary L. (5), Frances (3 yrs 2 mos.), and Theresa (1 yr 5 mos.). A 15 year old worker named Andrew Cheveny also lived with them. The oldest four Frank children attended school that year, as did Andrew Cheveny.Unlike most of their neighbors, the Frank family owned a radio set. The families of other Franks -- John (41) and Lawrence (43) -- lived nearby.

Obituary:
LeRoy P. Frank, age 81, of 903 East Main St., Louisville, passed away at Timken-Mercy
Hospital Sunday Dec 28 [1975] following a short illness.
Born in the Harrisburg, O. area April 23 1894, to the late Edward and Catherine Haidet
Frank, he lived in the area all his life. He retired in 1956 from the Canton Interstate Sash and
Door Co. and worked for many years in farming.
He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church; Louisville Knights of Columbus, Council
2530 and Harrisburg Order of Foresters.
He is survived by his wife, Julietta (Michel) Frank of the home, one son, Herman M. Frank
of Louisville; eight daughters, Mrs. Jack (Beatrice) Warner of Canton, Mrs. Richard (Pauline)
Haren, Mrs. Marcella Haren, Mrs. Edward (Mary) Rufling (sic), Mrs. Thomas (Theresa)
Hannon, and Mrs. Edward (Esther) Sluss, all of Louisville, Mrs. Harold (Frances) Daughterty
and Mrs. Thomas (Carolyn) Howell both of Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister, Mrs. Cecelia Scott of
Alliance, 36 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother,
Otto Frank, in 1966, and a sister, Elsie Ryan in 1975.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, Dec.31 at 10 AM in St. Louis Catholic
Church with burial in the church cemetery. Friends called at the Paquelet Funeral Home
Tuesday from 7 to 9 P.M. K of C and Catholic Order of Foresters met at the funeral home
Tuesday evening at 7 PM.


Julitta Evelyn Michel

The following notice appeared on pg 1 of The Louisville Herald on 26 Apr 1917:
Phillip Edward Frank, of Harrisburg, and Miss Jullita Evelyn Michel of Louisville
have been granted a marriage license. The wedding will occur May 8.

Obituary:
Julitta E. Frank, age 82, of 903 East Main St., Louisville passed away Saturday
evening [2 Jun 1979] at Molly Stark Hospital following a long illness. Born in Fulda,
Ohio December 11, 1896, she lived in the Stark County area for 72 years. She was a
member of St. Louis Catholic Church and St. Ann’s Altar & Rosary Society.
She is survived by 1 son, Herman M. Frank of Canton; 8 daughters, Mrs. Jack (Beatrice)
Warner of Canton, Mrs. Harold (Frances) Doughtery and Mrs. Carolyn Howell, both of
Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Richard (Pauline) Haren, Mrs. Marcell Haren, Mrs. Edward (Mary)
Ruflin, Mrs. Thomas (Thersea) Hannon, and Mrs. Edward (Esther) Sluss, all of Louisville,
1 brother, Carl Michel of Louisville, 2 sisters, Mrs. Freda Paquelet of Louisville and Mrs.
Esther Klingle of Canton; 37 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in
death by her husband, Leroy in 1975 and two brothers, Francis and Theodore.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday at 10 AM in St. Louis Catholic Church with
burial in the church cemetery. Friends called at the Paquelet Funeral Home Monday from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 PM. St. Ann’s Wake services were held on Monday at 7 PM at the funeral home.
In llieu of flowers, Mrs. Frank’s favorite charity was the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.


Thomas A. Menegay

Thomas Menegay's mother's maiden name was Gladieux, according to the Ohio online death certificate index at www.ancestry.com. Thomas was a veteran of the US Army.


Bernard Michael Archer

Bernard M. Archer, age 86, of Louisville, loving father, grandfather and brother,
passed away Thursday, November 15, 2001 in St. Joseph Care Center following an
extended illness. Bernie was born November 22, 1914 in Noble County to the late Earl
and Ida (Sorg) Archer. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a former welder for
Conrail prior to his retirement in 1979. Bernie was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church
in Louisville.
Bernie leaves behind two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronn and Mary Archer of
Oakville, Ontario, Canada and Bob and Patty Archer of Westerville; two brothers, Herb
Archer of Canal Fulton and Edward Archer of Louisville; and seven grandchildren, Kelly,
Lyndsey, Holly, Kevin, Jeffrey, Laura and Jennifer. He is preceded in death by his wife,
Florence M. Archer, who passed away in 1994 and three brothers, Wilbur, Ray and Cletus
Archer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic
Church with Msgr. Ken Miller officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may
call Monday morning 9-10:30 a.m. at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville.


Florence M. Blake

Obituary
Florence M. Archer, age 72, passed away late Sunday evening March 27 [1994] in the Joseph T. Nist Geriatric Nursing Home following a recent illness. She was born September 10, 1921 in Caldwell, the daughter of the late Albert and Loretta (Crum) Blake. She was a former employee of the Sommers Grocery Store, a member of St. Louis Church and St. Ann’s Altar and Rosary Society.
Mrs. Archer is survived by her husband, Bernard M. Archer, whom she married November 8, 1948; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Mary of Wolverhampton, England, and Bob and Patty of Westerville; a sister, Mrs. Ester Menegay of Louisville; a brother, Paul Blake of Louisville, and seven grandchildren, Kelly, Jeffrey, Laura, Lyndsey, Holily, Kevin, and Jennifer.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. Friends called Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning at the Paquelet Funeral Home of Louisville.
