Carl A. Arnold

C.A. ARNOLD, STORE OWNER, DIES AT HOME
Carl A. Arnold, 60, owner and operator of Arnold’s Market at 1011
Greenwood avenue, died suddenly of a heart attack at 7 p.m. Thursday
at his home, 1504 Sharon avenue.
Mr. Arnold, who also operated a meat stand at City Market, worked as
usual Thursday in his Greenwood avenue store. After supper in his home
he walked out into the backyard, collapsed and died.
He was born Dec. 19, 1898, in Wayne Township, a son of Fred and
Anna Soller Arnold, and resided in the Zanesville vicinity all his life. He
was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and of the Columbian
Association.
Mr. Arnold is survived by his widow, Carrie Agnes; three daughters,
Mrs. William Joseph of 1522 Sharon avenue, Carol Ann Arnold, who
is a student nurse at Good Samaritan hospital, and Karen Rose Arnold
at home; three sons, Carl Jr. of Dayton, Jerry of Boggs road, and Gene
at home; two sisters, Mrs. Lenore Litton of 1011½ oshoGreenwood avenue
and Mrs. Howard Camp of 822 Seborn avenue, and 12 grandchildren.
The body was removed to the Hillis Funeral Home.


Linda Lou Ritterbeck

Linda Ritterbeck Arnold was a resident of Carroll County Ohio at the time of her death.
