Felix Miller

In 1900, Felix Miller lived in the household of his recently married brother, Fred on Stokes Ave. in North Braddock. Felix worked as a teamster.

In 1910, 29 year old Felix Miller lived with his wife of 5 years, Emelia (26) and their children Roy (4), Blanch (2) and Celia (5 mos) in a rented home at 530 Cherry Way in Braddock, Allegheny Co., Pennsylvania. Felix worked as a wagon driver for a brewery. According to the census, Emelia had given birth to 3 children all of whom were still living. Felix and Emelia were born in Ohio as were their parents. The children were born in Pennsylvania. Living next door was Fulda native Alexander Burkhardt and his family and next to them was Leo Estadt and his family.

At the time of the 1920 census, widower Felix Miller (40) owned a home at 573 1/2 Stokes Ave. in North Braddock. Living with him were his children Roy (14), Blanche (12), Cecilia (10), Earnest (8), and Dorothy (5). The four oldest children attended school. Felix worked as a skilled laborer at the steel works.


Amelia Catherine Smithberger

In 1900, 15 year old Amelia lived with the family of her older brother Henry. She helped in the home, but did not attend school.

Cecelia M. Miller

Cecelia Miller entered the Sisters of Divine Providence and took the name Sister Tarsicia.


Mary Cecilia Miller

Andrew Joseph Clark

Andrew and Blanche Miller's inscriptions are on the tombstone of Charles F. Clark 1878-1944. This may be Andrew's father.

Emma Lucetta Buzzard

MILLER EMMA LUCETTA Age 89, peacefully at Manor Care, Greentree on Saturday, March 1, 2008. Emma was a former resident of Banksville and North Braddock. She was the wife of the late Ernest L. Miller I.
Emma is survived by her six children; Laura of Banksville, Sara of Hixson, TN, Ernest II of Munhall, Renee of Matthews, NC, Theresa McMahon of East Pgh. and Frederick (Priscilla) of Albany, GA. She also leaves behind 11 grand children: Mollie Miller, Susan Vaughan, Ernest III (Carli) Miller, William Miller, Maura (Fran) Belback, Emily, Rory and Megan McMahon, Joan, Evelyn and Rodrigo Miller; also six great grandchildren. Emma was the sister of William V. Buzzard (his late wife Clara Mae), Clay E. and Rita Buzzard and Mary Alice and Matthew Dorn and the late Dolores (Casey) Koslovic, Betty Jane (John) Kearney and Joseph (his surviving wife Judy) Buzzard.
Family and friends welcome on Tuesday 2-5 & 7-9 pm at William Slater II Funeral Service, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp.
