Edward Crock lived in Streetsboro, Ohio, where he had three children by his first wife. He later married Virginia Wheaton. They had five children and lived in Ravenna, OH; Kent OH; Dunellen, FL; and Rootstown, OH. (Also see notes on Francis Crock.)

Edward A. Crock, 85, of Porter Road, Rootstown, died Sunday, December 23, 2001, at
Altercare of Ravenna [Portage Co., OH]. He was born March 29, 1916 in Streetsboro, to Leo
and Claire (Holman) Crock. [sic. Clara Hohman Crock] He was a member of St. Patrick's
Church and the Elks.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Wheaton, sons Thomas A. (Linda) Crock of Rootstown,
Tim (Mary) Crock of Kent, George Crock of Rootstown, Edward A. Crock Jr. of Grove City,
Raymond (Marilyn) Crock of Gainesville, Ga.; daughters Linda (Lloyd) Stillson of Holder, Fla,
Sadie (John) Frye of Worthington, Marie (Bob) Westby of Durham, NC; 16 grandchildren, six
great-grandchildren, brother Gilbert Crock of Kent; sisters Bernetta (Bob) Wiencek of Hudson,
and Katie (Ralph) Norman of North Canton. He was preceded in death by five brothers and two
sisters.
Calling hours will be held 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the Bissler
& Sons Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. in Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna.

James H. Bohn Sr., 64, of Zanesville, died at 6:20 A.M. Thursday, July 10, 1997,
at his residence.
Born February 1, 1933, in Zanesville, he was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic
Church and was a 2nd degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He was also a
veteran Paratrooper of the 82nd Airborne Division, a past member of the Muskingum
Home Builders Association, and he owned and operated Bohn Water Well Drilling
until retiring in 1976.
Surviving are his wife, Janet (Severt) Bohn, whom he married December 29, 1962;
one daughter, Dianna S. Urogi of Zanesville; three sons and two daughters in-law, James
H. and Darla J. Bohn Jr. of Adamsville, Phillip S. Bohn of Zanesville, and Darrin W. and
Lisa P. Bohn of Zanesville; three brothers and two sisters in-law, Charles J. and Mary
Bohn of Zanesville, Paul A. and Nancy L. Bohn of Mount Sterling, and Daniel T. Bohn
of Zanesville; and three grandchildren, James H. III, Angela M. and Nicholas Bohn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles L. and Ora M. Godfrey Bohn;
and one brother, Charles W. Bohn, who died in infancy.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue
Ave., where Christian Vigil services will be at 5:30 p.m. today with Rev. Mr. B. N.
Peterson officiating.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 1997, at St. Nicholas
Catholic Church with Father Dwayne McNew as celebrant. Burial will be in Mount
Olive Cemetery, where the VFW George Selsam Post 1058 will hold military services.
Memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Good Samaritan Hospice or St.
Nicholas Catholic Church.

Charles Louis Bohn, 89, of Zanesville, died at 11:45 p.m. Thursday,Dec. 26, 1996,
at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Born Aug. 23, 1907, in Zanesville, he was a life
member of the St.Nicholas Catholic Church, a member of the, Fraternal Order of Eagles
for71 years, and a member of Local 148 United Association of Plumbers andPipe Fitters.
Mr. Bohn was a Journeyman Plumber and a Pipe Fitter.
Surviving are his wife, Ora M. (Godfrey) Bohn, whom he married Sept.29,
1930; four sons, James H. Bohn of Zanesville, Charles J. Bohn ofZanesville, Paul A.
Bohn of Mount Sterling, and Daniel T. Bohn ofZanesville; one sister, Mary R.
Gallagher of Birmingham Ala.; eightgrandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Ora May Bohn, 88, of Zanesville, died at 3:34 p.m. Tuesday, April29, 1997, at
Adams Lane Care Center.
Born May 14, 1908, in Malta, she was a member of St. NicholasCatholic Church
for more than 66 years and a retired Registered Nurse.She was affiliated with both Good
Samaritan Medical Center and BethesdaHospital. She graduated from Malta High School
in 1927 and BethesdaHospital School of Nursing in 1930. She was a member of the
Ohio NursesAssociation and served as Precinct Judge for Washington Township for
manyyears.
Surviving are four sons, James H. Bohn of Zanesville, Charles J.Bohn of Zanesville,
Paul A. Bohn of Mount Sterling, Daniel T. Bohn ofZanesville; eight grandchildren; and
eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Bohn, who diedDecember 26,
1996; her parents, Wesley J. and Lucy E. (Wetherell)Godfrey, an infant son, Charles
Wm. Bohn; two brothers Herman Godfrey andKarl Godfrey; and her step-mother, Oma
(Hiatt) Lyons Godfrey.

Charles Joseph Bohn

Obituary:

ZANESVILLE -- Charles J. Bohn, 69, of Zanesville, went home to God at 3 a.m. Monday, Aug. 23, 2004, at his residence after an 11 year battle with Leukemia.

He was born Wednesday, Nov. 21, 1934, in Zanesville, to the late Charles L. and Ora Godfrey Bohn. He was a lifetime member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and a graduate of Rosecrans High School. He served on the Saint Nicholas Church finance committee and was president of the Saint Nicholas School Board in the 1980s. He was also a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, serving as a former trustee. He served six years in the 342nd M.P.s Reserves, retiring as a sergeant. He retired after 42 years with Sears Roebuck and Co.

Surviving is his beloved wife of 44 years, Pyretta Mary Bohn, whom he married Oct. 17,1959; a daughter, Rebecca Ann (Tim) Matteson of Richwood; a son, Stephen C. (Angela) Bohn of Hillard; grandchildren, Jason, Valerie, Brian, and Aaron; and brothers, Paul (Nancy) Bohn of Mount Sterling, Daniel (Phyllis) Bohn of Zanesville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James H. Bohn Sr.; and an infant brother, Charles William Bohn.

Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, at the Hillis & Hardwick Funeral Home, 935 Forest Ave., with Christian Vigil services at 5 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, with Father Robert Kitsmiller officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Charles wishes donations be made in his memory to the Leukemia Society or Genesis Hospice, Morrison House.
