Obituary:

Albert Burkhart, age 86, of Malvern, OH, died Friday evening, June 15, 2001 at Aultman Hospital. Born in Pennsylvania on Feb. 4, 1915 to the late George and Otilda (Schoepner) Burkhart. A member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Malvern. He had been employed as a carpenter at Crowl Lumber Co. in Malvern. Former member of the Brown Twp. Fire Dept. He is survived by his wife, Wilma (Fulks) Burkhart of the home; son, Jerry Burkhart of the home; daughter, Betty (Robert) Santucci of Minerva; brothers, Harry of Waynesburg, William J. of Magnolia; sisters, Nellie Barnhouse of Waynesburg, Mildred Gallagher of Canton; granddaughter, Tammy (Michael) Johnson of North Carolina; two great-grandchildren, Tayroi and Katin Johnson. Preceded in death by brother, George. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, June 19, 2001 at St. Francis Catholic Church with Msgr. John Michael Campbell officiating. Burial in St. Francis Cemetery. Calling hours Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home, Malvern.


Harry Francis Burkhart

Harry F. Burkhart, age 84, of Waynesburg, passed
away Sat., evening, Dec. 24, 2005, in Great Trail Care
Center. He was born in Donora, PA, a son of the late
George and Otilda Sheppner Burkhart, and had been
a resident of the Waynesburg area most of his life. He
was a 1939 graduate of Waynesburg High School.
Harry retired in 1986 from the U. S. Ceramic Tile Co.
in East Sparta, after over 40 years service, where he
was on the Maintenance Dept. He was a member of
St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Morges and had served
in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie E. Burkhart,
on Nov. 15, 2005; an infant son, Jeffrey; and two brothers,
George and Albert Burkhart. Survived by two daughters
and a son-in-law, Margaret Burkhart, of the home, and
Linda and Tom Fritchley, of Canton; five sons and daugh-
ters-in-law, Ronald and Linda Burkhart, of Springfield,
MO, Paul and Jonquil Burkhart, David and Barb Burkhart,
and Richard and Erlinda Burkhart, all of Dellroy, and
Michael and Patricia Burkhart, of Leesville; two sisters
and brothers-in-law, Nellie and James Barnhouse, of
Waynesburg, and Mildred and Carl Gallagher, of Canton;
one brother and sister-in-law, William and Martha Burk-
hart, of Magnolia; 13 grandchildren and five great-grand-
children.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wed. at 10
a.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Marut
as Celebrant. Interment in St. Mary’s Church Cemetery.
Friends may call Tuesday (tonight) 6-9 p.m. at the Fine-
frock - Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia. Contributions
in Mr. Burkhart’s memory may be made to his family to
help defray expenses or to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.


Marjorie Ellen Houze

Obituary:
Marjorie E. Burkhart, age 80, of Waynesburg, passed
away Tuesday evening in Great Trail Care Center. She
was born in Carroll County, OH, a daughter of Pearl Scott
Houze, of Navarre, and the late Lorin Houze, and was a
life resident of the Magnolia-Waynesburg area. Marjorie
was an employee of the former Williams Pharmacy in
Magnolia and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church
in Morges.
Preceded in death by an infant son, Jeffrey. Surviving
besides her mother is her husband, Harry F. Burkhart,
with whom she would have celebrated their 58th Wedding
Anniversary on Nov. 29th; two daughters and a son-in-law,
Margaret Burkhart, of the home, and Linda and Tom Fritch-
ley, of Canton; five sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald
and Linda Burkhart, of Springfield, MO, Paul and Jonquil
Burkhart, David and Barb Burkhart, and Richard and
Erlinda Burkhart, all of Dellroy, and Michael and Patricia
Burkhart, of Leesville; three sisters and a brother-in-law,
Thelma Geiser, of Dellroy, Judy and Don Miller, of Mentor,
OH, and Patricia McBrayer, of Ft. Payne, AL; four brothers
and sisters-in-law, Karl Houze, of Mineral City, Lorin and
Corina Houze, Jr., of New Phila., Lewis and Mary Houze,
of Canton, and Lester and Dodie Houze, of Bolivar; 13
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Sat. at 10
a.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Marut
as Celebrant. Interment in St. Mary’s Church Cemetery.
