Obituary:
Elizabeth Maurine (Small) George, age 80, of Alliance, died Saturday, April 13, 2002, in Harligen, TX. She was born July 23, 1921, in Caldwell, OH, the daughter of the late William Esbie and Leora Lorena (Cunningham) Small.
Survivors include four daughters, Sandra (James) Martin of Crowley, TX, Ruth (Ronald) Hellyer of Minerva, OH, Bonnie (James) Gallagher of Canton, OH, Kathryn Basile of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; three sons, Robert (Nittaya) George of Colorado Springs, CO, James (Verona) George of Geneva, OH, John (Betty) George of Alliance, OH; sister, Marjorie Miller of Waynesburg, OH; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; close companion, Orvil Rich of Alliance, OH. She was preceded in death by husband, Robert L. George (1985); one sister; two brothers.
Friends will be received Friday 6-8 p.m. at the Walton-Schrader Funeral Home, 1131 W. State St., Alliance, OH 44601. Funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Reverend James George officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
