In 1930, 17 year old Bernadine Dimmerling lived at home with her parents and younger sisters in North Braddock, Pennsylvania. She was employed as a saleslady in a department store.


Eleanor R. Dimmerling

In 1930, 16 year old Eleanor Dimmerling lived at home with her parents and sisters. She attended school that year and worked as a saleslady in a department store.

Of Penn Hills, on March 13, 2003; beloved wife of the late John Totten; mother of William (Judy) Schubert, Robert (Paula) Schubert, Maureen (Frank) Greco, Donald (Carol) Totten and the late Catherine Totten and John E. Totten. Eleanor was preceded in death by her sisters Bernadine Palfy, Betty Connelly, Ardella Emminger, Kathleen Swritzer, Eileen Konopka and Evelyn Henderson; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 pm Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial 10 am Monday St. Bartholomew Church. Family requests everyone meet at the church, except immediate family. John N. Totten

John N. Totten, of Penn Hills, on Sunday, March 24, 2002; beloved husband of Eleanor R.; father of Donald G. Totten, William D. Schubert, Robert Schubert, Maureen Greco and the late Catherine Totten and John E. Totten; brother of the Rev. Raymond Totten, Xavier Totten, Joseph Totten and the late Charles Totten; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren. John was an avid golfer and a member of the Oakmont Country Club. EMMINGER, ARDELLA C. (DIMMERLING) On Thursday, January 4, 2001 in Oregon, formerly of North Braddock; wife of the late William B. Emminger Sr.; loving mother of Bill Emminger and his wife Kristin of Oregon; grandmother of Bill, Vickie, Mary and Jaden; great-grandmother of Andrew; sister of Evelyn Henderson and Eleanor Totten. Friends received 7 - 9 pm Tuesday only at the Thomas L. Nied Funeral Home, Inc. 7441 Washington St., Swissvale. Blessing Service at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 am.


Agatha H. Brahler

Agantha was known as "Gaitha" or "Gay."

Obituary:

Gay (Brahler) Kelleher, age 78, passed away Friday morning, January 28, 2000, in McKinley Life Care Center following an extended illness. She lived the majority of her life in the Canton area, where she attended St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and then moving to Malvern, she attended St. Francis Catholic Church. She graduated from McKinley High School and attended Kent State University. She volunteered many hours with AARP, Meals on Wheels, and was very active with the Girl Scouts of America, where she was a former troop leader. She was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) in 1986. She is survived by daughters, Bonnie Spicocchi of Massillon, Sherry (Joe) Betro of Hudson, OH, and Sue (Mike) McNichol of Canton; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas P. Dyer as celebrant. Burial in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Sunday afternoon 2-4 p.m. in the Don Williams Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc., 100 30th St. NW,Suite 100, Canton, OH 44709.


George Nicholas Brubach

In 1910, George N. Brubach (38) lived in a mortgaged home on Back Street in Lewisville, Summit Twp., County, Ohio with his wife Julia C. (39) and their children Mary V. (14), Laura E. (11), Edward D. (7) asnd Tirburthis G. (2). The oldest three children attended school. George and Julia had been married for 14 years. Julia had given birth to four children, all of whom were living at the time of the 1910 census. George was a self-employed mechanic in a blacksmith shop. Everyone in the household was a native of Ohio, as were their parents. Living two doors down were Julia's sister and brother-in-law, Elenore and Peter Baker.

Obituary:
WOODSFIELD - George N. Brubach, 79, of near Lewisville, in Monroe
county died at his home early Saturday morning [11 Feb 1950] following a
short illness. Mr. Brubach was a lifelong resident of the Lewisville community
and was a blacksmith.
Surviving are his widow, Julia Brubach, a daughter, Mrs. Mary Bing of Can-
ton; three sons, Tiburtius Brubach of Canton, Edward Brubach of Woodsfield
and Joseph Brubach of Akron; three brothers, Charles and F.F. Brubach, both
of Woodsfield, and Edward Brubach of Canton, and several grandchildren.
The body was removed to the Brubach funeral home at Summerfield and
returned to the residence Saturday evening. Funeral services were conducted
from the St. Joseph’s Catholic church at Burkhart near Lewisville this morning.
Burial was in the church cemetery.
