The Times Recorder (Zanesville, OH), newspaper, Oct 30, 1942 Gilbert Crock, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Crock, who was recently inducted into
the U.S. Army, is stationed at Camp Claiborne, La., in Signal Corps.

Obituary:
BEVERLY - Paul G. Crock, 55, of Beverly Route 1, a self-employed truck driver,
was found dead about 11 a.m. Monday [15 Sep 1973] in his automobile which had
crashed over an embankment and landed on its top in a creek along Ohio 339 just
north of here.
The Highway Patrol said the accident occurred Sept. 15. Patrolmen said Crock’s
car was apparently northbound, went off the road, struck two trees, and rolled over
the embankment. The vehicle landed on its top in a creek bed out of sight of the road-
way. Dr. Victor Whitacre, Washington County coroner ruled the death accidental.
Born Aug. 21, 1918, in Noble County, he was a son of Louis and Louise Shaer Crock.
He was married Jan 21, 1947 to the former Verna Forshey, who died Nov. 18, 1971.
Mr. Crock was a member of St. Bernard’s Catholic church and Russell Chadwick
Post of American Legion, both of Beverly. He was a veteran of World War I.
Survivors include five sons, William of Waterford, James of Marietta, Gary, Jay and
Dean, all of Beverly; two grandchildren; a brother, Gilbert of Caldwell route 6; two sisters,
Mrs. Pearl Shott of Canton and Mrs. Grace Hill of Waynesburg.
Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Bernard Catholic Church with Rev.
Fr. William Campbell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call
at McCurdy Funeral Home here where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Obituary:
Mrs. Verna Crock, 45, of Beverly Route 1, a Zanesville native, died at 4:35 p.m.
Thursday [16 Nov 1971] at Marietta Memorial Hospital fOllowing a short illness.
Mrs. Crock was born Jan. 19, 1926 in Zanesville, a daughter of Clyde and Myrtle
Forshey. She was married to Paul Crock on Jan. 21, 1947. She was a member of the
St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Beverly.
Surviving are her father of Cambridge, her husband, five sons, William and Gary
of Beverly, James of Watertown and Jay and Dean of the home; a brother, Charles
Forshey of Caldwell Route 1; two sisters, Mrs. Marjorie Coultrap of Los Angeles
and Mrs. Catherine Leasure of Talmadge, O.; one grandson.
The body was taken to the McCurdy Funeral Home at Beverly, where friends may
call at any time. Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Bernard’s Church with
Fr. William Campbell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rosary will
be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

CRUM, Attorney Robin M. Loudenslager, 43, of Wheeling, W.Va., died Friday, May 9, 2008, at home following a long illness with breast cancer. She was born September 6, 1964, in Glen Dale, W.Va., daughter of Robert and Edna Markus Loudenslager Sr. of Benwood. Robin graduated Summa Cum Laude at Wheeling Jesuit University, in 1991; and WVU School of Law, in 1994. She was a member of the WV and American Bar Associations and licensed to practice law in W.Va. and Pennsylvania. She was the owner of Crum Law Offices for ten years. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Wheeling. Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Dennis and Bernadine Loudenslager and Walter and Jennie Senek. Robin is survived by her husband of 17 years, Dr. Edward W. Crum, OD; her children, Chelsea Leigh and Alexander Edward, at home; her parents; her sisters, Denise (Michael) Kessler of Wheeling, Tammy (Richard) Stone of Ky., and Edna (Stephen) Karlovits of Pittsburgh, Pa.; one brother, Robert L. (Mischa) Loudenslager, Jr. of Ky.; her uncle and aunt, Gene and Sonja Loudenslarger of Pensacola, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends received from 1-8 p.m., Monday, at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling, where Vigil services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 13, 2008, in St. Michael Catholic Church, Wheeling, with the Rev.
