John Ezra Love

In 1920, J. Ezra Love (34) and his wife Minnie (35) owned a farm in Enoch Twp. Noble County, OH. They lived there with their twin children Arthur and Daisy (7), Minnie's son from her first marriage, Charles Bettinger (13), and two boarders, Okey and Otto Schafer. All of the children attended school. Ezra was a weigh master in a coal mine. The two boarders also worked in the mine.

By 1930, the family had moved to Erie County, Ohio. In 1930, they rented a house at 1215 W. Monroe St. in Sandusky for $37 a month. Living there were Ezra J. Love, (45), his wife Minnie (47), children Daisy (18) and Arthur (18), and Ezra's widowed mother, Rose (64). Both children attended school. Ezra and Minnie both worked in a grocery store: He was the manager, and she was a saleswoman.

According to the 1930 census, Minnie was 19 years old when she first married.

Mrs. Millie Ellen Love, a resident of Sandusky for the past 20 years at 1302 Third,
St. died late Wednesday afternoon at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and
Mrs. Charles Brockley, 1311 First St., after a two months' illness. She was aged 60 years,
seven months and 23 days. Mrs. Love was a member of the St. Stephens' Evangelical
Church. Surviving besides the daughter, Mrs. Brockley, are two sons, Pfc. Arthur Love, U.S.
Army, San Diego, Cal., and Charles Bettinger, Sandusky, three grandchildren, and two
brothers, Ernest and Grover Schimp, both of Columbus. The body is at the Charles J. Andres Sons' Funeral Home. Services will be Monday
afternoon with arrangements to be announced later. Dr. H.E. Pheiffer will conduct services
for Mrs. Minnie Ellen Love at 2 p.m. Monday at the Charles J. Andres Sons' Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.

Obituary:
George Moroz, 80, of Level Green, died Thursday, April 28, 2005. Husband of Kathleen Schockling Moroz; father of Claudia Vuic (Mike), of Swissvale, David Moroz (Cheryl), of Greencastle, Diane Puzio (Tom), of South Park, and Kevin Moroz, of Level Green; grandfather of Dan, Megan, John, Erin and Jon; and brother of Michael Moroz, of North Braddock, and the late John Moroz and Helen Abramovich. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
George went to the University of Pittsburgh on a basketball scholarship, then served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was in the beer and beverage business with his brother-in-law, and then retired from Delmont Kennametal.
Friends and family will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc., 602 Seventh St. (Route 130), Trafford. Funeral prayers at 9 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home, followed by a Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Regis Church, Trafford. Interment with military honors in Penn-Lincoln Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1011 Old Salem Road, Greensburg PA 15601, or one's own charity.
