Obituary:
Robert H. Estadt, 80 ,of Zanesville, OH died at 2:37 PM,
on Friday, October 1, 2004 at Genesis Morrison House
Hospice in Zanesville following a short illness.
He was born on Tuesday, September 30, 1924, in Cald-
well, OH the son of the late Urban and the late Adeline Hupp
Estadt . He was married to Martha (Riski) Estadt on Saturday ,
December 23, 1944. He was a member of St. Nicholas
Catholic Church and retired as manager after 25 years of
service with Terrace IGA. Mr. Estadt was a member of the
Knights of Columbus council #505 and the American Legion.
He was also an Army veteran of World War II.
In addition to his wife of the home he is survived by one
daughter Riese (George) Morar of Hillard; three half sisters
Laverne Pickrell & Madeline Bronkar both of Zanesville and
Mary Sorg of Brownsville. One granddaughter Stephanie
Cleaver and one grandson Joseph.
Preceded in death in addition to his parents were Step-
Mother Sophie Estadt Schockling and one son David Terry
Estadt in 1977.
Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8pm with Christian Vigil being held
at 3:30pm on Sunday Oct. 3 at the Hillis & Hardwick Funeral Home,
935 Forest Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Nicholas
Catholic Church on Monday, October 4, 2004 at 10:30 AM with Fr.
Leo Connolly as celebrant. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery, in
Zanesville, OH.
