Obituary:
Donald J. Hoover, age 33, formerly of Louisville, passed away Monday, September 17, 2001 in Medina General Hospital following an extended illness. Donald was born November 10, 1967 in Canton and spent the last few years of his life living in Brunswick. He was a member of the Catholic Church.
Donald is survived by his parents, Eugene P. and Mary A. (Fisher) Hoover of Louisvilleā three sisters, Joyce A. Hoover of Akron, Susan M. LeBeau of Canton and Diane K. Hoover of Louisville; a brother and sister-in-law, Kevin E. and Carolyn Hoover of Louisville; grandmother Marjorie Fisher, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Charles L. Fisher and Leon and Marie Hoover.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church with Msgr. Kenneth Miller officiating. Burial will be in St. Louis Church parish cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville.

Robert L. Oprandi, age 59, of North Canton, died Sunday in Aultman Hospitalafter a lengthy illness. He was a devoted husband, father, step-father andgrandfather and valued and held dear the relationships with his manyfriends. He was a 32 year employee of the Hoover Co. with 32 years ofservice and was project engineer. He was a member of North Canton Elks#2029, the Christopher Columbus Society in Alliance, the North Canton Eagles and Esber's Golf Club. He was also an avid bowler, racquetballer,trapshooter and above all loved playing poker. Survived by his wife, EstherRussell Oprandi of the home; sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Stephanieof Louisville, Christopher and Lindsey of Fairlawn; daughters andsons-in-law, Dr. Allison and Douglas Wilson of Massillon; Diana and DavidHeppner of Louisville; step sons, Phillip Popa of Toledo, John Popa of NorthCanton; step daughter, Pamela Popa of Nashville, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Lou and Gerald Barnard of Warren; ten grandchildren.Preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Mary (Wonner) Oprandi. Serviceswill be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Karlo Sons Funeral Home, NorthCanton, with interment in North Canton Cemetery. Shirley A. (Stoll) Scheetz, age 64, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2008, from complications of surgery.
Shirley was a graduate of Northwest High School (where her friends called her Cookie). She was a past bus driver for Jackson Local Schools and she lived in Jackson Twp. most of her life.
Shirley will be sadly missed by her family, Curt Lillie, her fiance; children, Edd Casto, Jr., Pamela Gallagher, Jim Casto, Scott Casto and Matthew Scheetz; grandchildren, Chad and Melanie Casto, Lexi Casto, Kashia, Rosemary and Nicole Gallagher; great-grandchildren, Chloe Bankston and Jayson John Casto; her siblings and their spouses, Doris (Don) Caler, Donna (Paul) Pavkov, Tom (Marty) Stoll; sisters-in-law, Bonnie and Mary Stoll; other family and friends including James Rabb, Michael Lillie; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held THURSDAY 11 a.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 East Cherry St. (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton). Burial Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home
