2 May 1824 -- death certificateAt the time of the 1880 census, Andrew Arnold (59) and his wife Theresa (48) lived in Watertown, Washington County, Ohio with their children Philomena (20), Jacob (18), John (16), Henry (14), Catherine (12), Andrew (10), Joseph (6), and Mary (6 mos.). Henry, Catherine, Andrew and Joseph attended school. According to the census, Andrew was born in Bavaria, as were his parents. Theresa and her parents were natives of France. The two oldest children had been born in Pennsylvania, and the younger children were born in Ohio.
In 1900, Andrew Arnold (76) and his wife Tracy (68) owned a farm in Watertown. The couple had been married for 44 years, and eight of their ten children were still living. Living with Andrew and Tracy were four of their unmarried children, Catherine (32), Clarence (29), Joseph (27) and Mary (20). The children were all born in Ohio; their parents were natives of Germany. Andrew came to America in 1847 and was a naturalized citizen. Tracy came to America in 1854.

Washington County death records contain an entry for a 32 year old unmarried housekeeper named Catherine Arnold of Churchtown who died of paralysis on 21 Jan 1901. It has not been proven that this is the daughter of Andrew Arnold.
In 1900, 27 year old Joseph Arnold lived with his parents and siblings on the family farm in Watertown, Washington County, Ohio. Joseph was the only member of the household who could not read and write.
Washington County death records contain an entry for a 27 year old unmarried farmer named Joseph Arnold of Churchtown who died of fever on 1 Mar 1901. It has not been proven that this is the son of of Andrew Arnold.
Obituary:
Bernadette C. Haidet, age 76 of Louisville, passed away Thursday June 12,2003 in the Green Meadows Health and Wellness Center following a recentillness. Bernie was born November 18, 1926 in Caldwell to the late, Urbanand Crescentia (Heppner) Hupp. She was the former owner and operator ofBernie's Vogue Beauty Salon. Bernie was an avid camper and especiallyenjoyed traveling with her husband, Bud, in their motor home. She was amember of St. Louis Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband of 55years, Wilfrid "Bud" Haidet whom she married June 21, 1947. Bernie ispreceded in death by an infant son and a brother, Arthur Hupp. A mass ofChristian burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 a.m. in St. LouisCatholic Church with Msgr. Ken Miller officiating. Burial will be in theparish cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at thePaquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville.
